Looked-After Children Forum

The Northern LAC Forum is open to anyone who works with children in the care of local authorities or who are adopted. The forum is organised by NSCAP and meets quarterly.

The aim of the forum is to bring together people who work with looked-after children including professionals and managers from education, health, social care and the family courts. The forum will support service improvements and will encourage participation from looked-after children themselves, adult care-leavers and foster carers. The Forum will encourage inter-agency and inter-disciplinary collaboration; showcasing good practice, and developing research projects in all aspects of work with looked-after children.
