The Emotional Care of Babies, Children, Young People and Families
Modular Graduate Certificate/Diploma (Level 6 training) to support a diverse infant, child, adolescent and family workforce.
From September 2017 the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (NSCAP) will be working with its long-term partner, the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, to bring this significant new training and workforce development opportunity to the North of England. The course consists of a series of ten-week modules that can be taken in two years or over a longer period to suit the student and their employer’s circumstances. The course will be delivered weekly on Wednesday evenings to maximise the opportunities for students to attend the course alongside their developing careers.
The Graduate Certificate/Diploma is at Level 6 on the Qualifications Framework which covers degree apprenticeships, undergraduate degrees and Level 6 Awards (formerly NVQs). The course is validated by the University of Essex and has run successfully at the Tavistock Centre for two years.
