Springwell Road is not easy to find if you are not familiar with the area. We recommend you have a good streetmap and work out the route in advance. The following directions should help.

Directions By Train

Springwell Road is approximately 15 minutes walk from Leeds train station.  Go out of the rear entrance of the station (next to Wetherspoon's) and along Whitehall Road. Continue past the turning for Globe Road until you go under the railway bridge and it is next left at Christians Carpets.

The NSCAP building is halfway down Springwell Road on the same site as Leeds City Council "Evolution House" and Rathbone and we are opposite the Emmanuel Trading Estate with Hertz Rental and Speedy Hire.

Directions By Car

If you are driving from the city centre it is best to approach from the train station as above along Whitehall Road. It is also possible to approach from the A643 (via the "Armley Gyratory") but this is a duel carriageway so the exit sliproad (by Dunelm Mill) can only be accessed from the southbound side.  At the Whitehall Road end of Springwell Road look out for Christians Carpets and UNISON offices.

If you are coming from the motorways (M1, M62, M621) we recommend you use Junction 3 of the M621 and follow signs for Holbeck. Follow the road (Jack Lane) through a sharp righthand bend, where it becomes Bridge Road and then Holbeck Lane. Continue under a bridge and when you see advertising hoardings and a More Th>n building turn right onto Water Lane and then immediately left onto Springwell Road. There is no street sign at this end of the road.

The NSCAP building is halfway down Springwell Road on the same site as Leeds City Council "Evolution House" and Rathbone and we are opposite the Emmanuel Trading Estate with Hertz Rental and Speedy Hire.

There is a car park with parking spaces designated with NSCAP signs. The four spaces at the front of the building are reserved for staff, visitors and also for students with disabilities. The other spaces are in the main car park behind the building (entrance to the right of the building as you face it) and can be used by students. Please do not park in the spaces reserved for Leeds City Council or Rathbone. If there are no spaces in the car park there is metered on-street parking on Springwell Road.
