The Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (NSCAP) is the north of England NHS centre for psychoanalytic psychotherapy training for professionals working with children, young people and their families.

On this site you will find information about training and professional development that will be of interest to people working with children, young people and their families in many different settings.
Commissioning
The site also contains information for service commissioners and providers from health, social care, education and other sectors to support the commissioning of child and adolescent psychotherapy services and the development of the workforce.

New Website Launched

The new website for the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy is now live. The previous version of the site was praised for its ease of navigation and clear presentation of information and we have built on that to make the new site even better! The main development has been to make sure the site reflects the distinction between the two major aspects of the work of NSCAP by separating the main areas of content into Training and Commissioning. We hope you can easily find your way to the area that is most relevant to your interests.
